Welcome to my page...I am the newest edition to join the Peanut Gallery! If you were wondering why I look the way I do, I am an AKC Registered "Tri-Colored" Yorkshire Terrier best known as Full Parti. Just so you know, Yorkshire Terriers come in various colors such as Liver and Tan, also known as Chocolate. We even come in solid colors known as Golden. Only the Traditional/Standard colored Yorkshire Terriers are allowed to be shown in AKC shows. But, that doesn't make me or any other color variant any less of a purebred Yorkshire Terrier!
When I grow up, I will be the father of full parti yorkshire terriers like myself and parti carrier off spring. Basically speaking...
* If I am bred to a traditional/standard colored yorkshire terrier like Miss Ginger, my off spring will be all Parti Carriers. In other words, they all will look like their mother - Traditional/Standard colored yorkshire terriers but will carry the Parti Gene.
* If I am bred to a parti carrier yorkshire terrier like Miss Pepsi, half of my off spring will look like their mother and the other half of them will look like me. All of my offspring in this case, will carry the Parti Gene.
* If I am a REALLY lucky guy and bred with a Full Parti Yorkshire Terrier lady like myself, ALL my offspring will look like me!!! And, ALL will carry the Parti Gene.
Please understand that this is only an example because just like humans, ALL of us furry critters and our gene pools are different in some way regardless of our breed or color!!!
