Subject: Update on Scooter a.k.a. Dinky a.k.a. Squishy

Hey Kelly,

Just wanted to send you a note and some pictures of our baby Scooter. Oh my gosh, I never thought I could be so in love with a dog! He is such a joy and he seems to be adapting well to the family. I haven't had a chance yet to get him into any sort of dog training classes, we had wanted to at Petsmart, but we've been trying to take him out and about when we go out to socialize him with people.

I was wondering...will his ears ever perk up? I have been feeding him the cottage cheese, but wondering if I am going to have to tape them, or will they come up on their own? I know he is teething like crazy and chewing everything in sight!

Anyway, when you are going to have another litter of pups, let us know, I might want to get another for a playmate for Scooter! :-)

Hey Kelly and all in the Peanut Gallery:

Hope all is well. I just wanted to send you an update our son. Teddy & I are doing well. I am glad to report that Teddy is 100% house broken. Not only that, he now volunteers to enter his crate when I am leaving for work. I no longer have to coax, beg or bribe him. The first day he did it I wasn't quite sure what was going on but when he did it again I almost cried. Its like watching a child entering school for the first time. You kept telling me that things would come together but I was quite doubtful at times but I stuck with it. As usual, you were right.

This little man is such a joy to have around the house. He keeps me laughing all the time. He is just so loving. I just can't thank you enough.

The picture was taken last week. He was on a break from playing fetch.

Hello Kelly,

Honey is going Friday to be groomed. I know someone who works at Petsmart and she's going to give her the spa treatment. I am getting her cut short but not too short. I bathed her last weekend she smelled so good. She doesn't mind being brushed either. Tim is going to brush her daily. I used baby spray detangler and it worked great. I bought that because I was afraid of it getting in her eyes. I am going to try and get my pictures downloaded from my camera this week and send you some. We just love her. Her and the cats chase each other and are always touching noses. I am so happy that they are getting along. She has had a few accidents but it will get better the older she gets. We have to take her out every 4 hours and she's fine. She doesn't want to go in the crate any longer, which is fine with us. She sleeps at Tim's feet all night. I don't think she moves at all. We are going to have to by a domed litter box since she got it to our open one last night and dragged something out. We call her little bad-ass but we really are happy with her. She just does puppy stuff. I'll send you some pics hopefully this weekend.

Chili is doing soooooooo good. Im so happy that i have chosen him to be im other half. He latched on very well, quicker then we both expected. He follows me every where, and loves to fetch just like you said. The only little problem i have is eating the hard food, when i put the food out and by the time my boyfriend gets home it seems that he doesn't even touches the food. However this was scaring me a little because i was hoping that he wasn't eating just one time a day when i give me the dog roll with the wet food. But besides that he is great. He sleeps with me everyday..I wipe him with dog wipes everyday because he gets in my bed with me. He loves my boyfriend and yes he is very over protected. He barks at anything or anybody that comes near me. He's always in my boyfriend's lap at the computer, they spend most of there time when im not there (thats because he gets home around 12noon). He is very spoiled already. I love my little man and again thank you so much. Please let me know when your package arrive. i haven up loaded the pictures just yet. I've so busy with my new little man, haven yet sat at down at my computer most likely i'll get to it over the weekend, but as promise i will be sending you some pictures (he will be taking some Halloween picture this weekend actually) so of course you'll be the first to get one. Just wanted to share some new photos!! Marley's doing great! LOVES the kids, espesially Jordan (my oldest). The pic of him asleep on the couch is with Jordan's shirt! He plays alot with Justus and Taylor but with some caution! He treats Jordan as if he was Cookie Monster the way he plays with him! So funny! But here he is also with his two favorite toys he stole from Justus!
