Delivery and Shipping

We are located in Maryland just twenty minutes northwest of the District of Columbia.  And, whenever possible we recommend that you pick up your puppy personally.  Or, we can bring your new family member to meet you within a 100 mile radius of our home free of charge.  We here at The Peanut Gallery also understand that personal pick up and/or delivery may not always be possible.  So, we do ship our puppies if needed!  We will only ship our puppies at 12 weeks of age or later, depending on size, social development and weather permitting.  All puppies arrive with a veterinarian certified health certificate guarantying the puppy is healthy upon arrival from one of our Veterinarians.  Please feel free to contact us or them with any questions at:

Once again please understand that we will only ship weather permitting and shipping rates are not included in the listed puppy adoption price unless otherwise noted.  The price for shipping a puppy to any major city in the United States averages $200.00-$300.00 plus $50.00 for the pet taxi.  Shipping is conducted based on the weather/temperature policy of the shipping airline.  Therefore, a puppy may be required to stay with us past the age of twelve (12) weeks.

 

WE WILL NOT DELIVER OR SHIP UNLESS TOTAL BALANCE IS PAID IN FULL!!!

Airport Pickup Instructions

Call the airport prior to your puppy's arrival date to get directions to where you will pick your puppy up. Some airports you will pick up the main terminal and in other airports in the cargo facility.

Arrive at the airport at least 30 minutes early.  The persons name the puppy is registered under needs to have a picture ID to pick the puppy up.  Also have your flight confirmation number with you.

When you receive your puppy, take it out of its pet carrier and give it a peanut size drop of Nutri-Cal. Nutri-Cal is a calorie supplement that will keep their blood sugar up as well as boosting their appetite. Nutri-Cal can be purchased at most vet offices or pet stores.  Call us to let us know how everything is going.
